Creating competition

Alternapak is a supplier of alternative brick-type liquid packaging material for use on Tetra Brik Aseptic filling machines. Its main office and technical service centre is located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands . Alternapak also has an office with technical service centre in Wambrechies, France. Alternapak has commercial representatives in Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Production takes place in Northern Italy on two production lines installed in the factories of Cartotecnica Veneta.
Alternapak can supply brick-type carton reels in the sizes 1000 ml Slim, 1000 ml Base and 200 ml Slim. Its service network is available to assist customers in matters of quality and efficiency.

Because of the patented AlternaSwitch, infringement on intellectual property rights of Tetra Pak is not an issue.

Alternapak is a joint venture of Frapag Beteiligungsholding from Austria and Cartotecnica Veneta from Italy. They have taken over the aseptic packaging activities including the experienced staff from Fortapak, formerly Variopak, in the Netherlands.
